Barna Màgics.

Basketball without barriers.

The Barna Màgics is CB Grup Barna's inclusive team: a group of players with functional diversity who train and compete like any other team in the club, within the ACELL League (Catalan Sports Federation for People with Intellectual Disabilities).

They are not a side project. They are just another team: with their own schedule, their weekly training sessions, their dedicated coaching staff, their official club shirts. They share the sports hall, changing rooms, shirts and identity with the other 39 teams.

Normality as the message.

  Real inclusion, not decorative. The Màgics are not an activity set apart from the club: they share the sports hall, changing rooms, staff and shirts with the other teams. When the women's youth teams finish training, the Màgics are already at the sports hall getting ready. They know each other. They greet each other. They support each other.

  Continuity. It is not a one-off programme or a marketing campaign. It is a section of the club that exists on a regular basis, with dedicated budget and long-term commitment.

  Community cohesion. The neighbourhood knows CB Grup Barna is the club where everyone belongs. Families with children with functional diversity know that here their children will not just be "accepted", but will become part of a real team.

  EQUALS at 3x3 Westfield Glòries 2026. The Màgics concept has inspired this year's new EQUALS category at the 3x3 tournament, where players with functional diversity share the court with players without disabilities. Inclusion has become methodology.
