The club, in general

What does the fee cover?

Everything you need to play the season, except the kit, which is paid for separately. Registered players are also covered by the compulsory sports insurance of the Catalan Basketball Federation.

How is the fee paid?

Monthly: it is paid in instalments across the season. The monthly amount depends on age and age group. If you want to know what it would be in your case, message us on WhatsApp +34 698 425 153 or write to marqueting@cbgrupbarna.info with the year of birth and we will tell you the same day.

Is there a discount for siblings?

Yes. If you have more than one child at the club there is a discount. Message us on WhatsApp +34 698 425 153 or write to marqueting@cbgrupbarna.info and we will tell you how it works out in your case.

What happens if we have to leave mid-season?

The season is paid in full: signing up commits you to the whole year, because the place, the federation licence and the team are held for the entire season. If you are in a difficult situation, talk to the club before deciding anything: there are hardship bursaries and it is always worth saying so.

What kit do we need to buy, and where?

The kit is separate from the fee and is ordered from the club's official shop. Once your place is confirmed, the person handling your enrolment explains what to order for their age group, how to do it and what it costs. You need none of that to come and try a session: sports clothes, indoor court shoes and a water bottle are enough.

What happens if they miss a training session?

Let their coach know. A note from the family is enough — you do not need anything from a doctor.

What is CB Grup Barna?

A development basketball club from El Clot, Barcelona, founded in 1965, with more than 34 teams, boys' and girls' structures, an Escoleta, senior teams in the Super Copa FCBQ and adapted sport.

How do I join CB Grup Barna?

Leave your details in the information form on the home page, or write to the club on WhatsApp. For children aged 4 to 8, the way in is usually the Escoleta.

Where does CB Grup Barna train and play?

The main venue is La Nau del Clot, on carrer de la Llacuna, in the Sant Martí district. The club also uses five other courts in the neighbourhood, depending on the team and the time.

How much does it cost to join the club for a season?

Fees go by age band and by age group: the Escoleta, the league teams and the camp are priced differently, and within the league teams it varies by age group too. We do not publish the price list on the site, but we will tell you straight away: message us on WhatsApp +34 698 425 153 or write to marqueting@cbgrupbarna.info with the year of birth and we will give you the exact fee that would apply, the same day. Before you decide anything, the first session is a free trial, and the club keeps hardship bursaries so that no child is left out for financial reasons.

Are there bursaries or help for families who cannot afford the fee?

Yes. The club keeps hardship bursaries so that no child is left out for financial reasons. You can ask for one by writing to the club at marqueting@cbgrupbarna.info or on WhatsApp +34 698 425 153, and requests are handled confidentially.

Can you join mid-season?

Yes, if there is a place in their age group. You can join at any point in the season, and the first session is still a free trial. Write to us with the year of birth and we will tell you whether there is room.

Is there a waiting list to sign up?

Yes, once a team or a group is full. Message the club on WhatsApp with the child's age and you join the waiting list: when a place opens up, you are contacted in the order you signed up.
