Who handles your data
The data controller is Club Bàsquet Grup Barna (CB Grup Barna), a non-profit sports club, tax number NIF G58432584 and registered at C/ Llacuna 172, Parc del Clot, 08018 Barcelona.

What we collect and what for
This website only collects what you give us, and always for a specific reason.
The «Want information?» form on the home page
We ask for your name, mobile number, email address and your message. Sending it does two things at once: the club's WhatsApp opens with what you have written, so the conversation stays on your phone and on the club's, and the same details are also emailed to the club through Formspree, an external service acting as a data processor. The processing therefore happens inside WhatsApp — where Meta's terms apply too — and at Formspree.
Purpose: to reply to you and give you the information you ask for. Legal basis: your consent, which you give by ticking the box before sending.
The photo gallery forms
In the event galleries (the 3x3 at Westfield Glòries, for instance) we may ask for your name, surname, email address and mobile number so we can send you the photos or let you know about new galleries. These details go to a club spreadsheet hosted on Google Drive.
Purpose: to get the photographs to you and, if you have agreed to it, to let you know about club news. Legal basis: your consent.
Downloading documents (packs and briefing as PDFs)
To download some of the club's documents — the Escoleta pack, the partner briefing and similar — we ask for your name and surname, email address and, optionally, mobile number. These details go to the same club spreadsheet on Google Drive that we use for the galleries, along with a note of which document you asked for.
On the same form you can tick whether you want to receive the club newsletter (news, open days, camps and match days). It is a separate box: you can download the document without subscribing, and you can unsubscribe whenever you like by writing to marqueting@cbgrupbarna.info or from any email we send you.
Purpose: to get the document to you, to be able to help if you have questions and, if you have agreed to it, to send you the newsletter. Legal basis: your consent, which you give by ticking the boxes before downloading.
Reviews
The Opina page is only a link to Google's review form. If you write there, your data is handled by Google under its own terms; the club collects none of it.
How long we keep it
Contact details are kept for as long as the relationship with the club lasts and, after that, for as long as legal obligations require. If you ask us to delete them sooner, we do.
Who it is shared with
We do not sell or pass on data to third parties. We do use external services which, as data processors, may have technical access to it:
- Meta (WhatsApp) — the channel the home page enquiries come through.
- Formspree — receives an email copy of the «Want information?» form on the home page.
- Google — the club's spreadsheet and forms (Google Drive), and visit statistics (Google Analytics).
- GitHub (GitHub Pages) — hosts this website.
- Flickr — hosts the gallery photographs.
The club does not profile you or make automated decisions with your data.
Cookies and statistics
This website does not use advertising cookies and does not sell data to anyone. The only thing here is Google Analytics, to know how many visits each page gets and which ones interest people most.
Analytics is not switched on until you accept it. The first time you come in, a notice appears at the bottom with two options: «Only the necessary ones» and «Accept them». Until you choose — or if you choose the first — the browser does not even download Google's code: there is no request, no cookie and no identifier.
If you accept, Google Analytics places cookies in your browser with an anonymous identifier to tell visits apart. Your choice is saved in your own browser; the club does not receive it.
You can change your mind whenever you like. You can also use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or block third-party cookies in your browser.
Everything else the site stores in your browser is technical and never leaves your device: it remembers, for example, whether you have already dismissed a notice or which fixtures tab you were looking at.
Photographs and videos of club activities
The club takes photographs and videos of training sessions, games and events, and publishes some of them on the website and on social media to show its sporting activity. In the case of children, publication is covered by the authorisation signed by their guardians on the registration form.
If at any point you want us to take down a particular image, write to us at marqueting@cbgrupbarna.info and we will take it down without your having to explain why.
Children's data
The data of players under 18 is provided by their guardian at the time of registration, and is processed to manage the federation licence, the competition and communication with the family. This website does not ask children for data directly.
Your rights
You can exercise at any time your rights ofaccess, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw any consent you have given. An email to marqueting@cbgrupbarna.info saying what you want is enough.
If you feel we have not dealt with your request properly, you can complain to theCatalan Data Protection Authority (APDCAT) or to theSpanish Data Protection Agency.
Changes to this policy
If we change the way we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top. The version in force is always the one you find here.
