Is a medical check-up required to play at the club?

Yes, players need to pass a medical check to play. The club arranges it and it is free for families: you do not need to find one or pay for it yourselves.

Are the players insured?

Yes. Every registered player is covered by the compulsory sports insurance of the Catalan Basketball Federation (FCBQ). The details and the procedure if there is an accident during training or a game are handled by the federation itself.

What happens if my child gets injured in a game or training?

Every registered player is covered by the compulsory sports insurance of the Catalan Basketball Federation. If something happens in training or a match, you tell the coach right away and the club starts the FCBQ accident protocol, which says which medical centre to go to so that the insurance covers it.
