Pride Month at CB Grup Barna. Activities open to the neighbourhood, the Sant Martí District and all families.
No child left out of the game
We're a basketball club from the Clot. Every afternoon, the court fills with kids, families, volunteer coaches and older players greeting the littlest ones. This is our home. And it has to be for everyone.
What we say
We listen to you.
If something hurts you, come talk to us. We have time.
Nobody insults anyone here.
Not on the court, not in the changing room, not on social media.
Every family counts.
With two mums, two dads, single parents, foster families.
Staying silent is not neutral.
In front of a joke that hurts, the adults of this club act. Looking the other way means leaving alone the children who need us.

June 6–7
3x3 for Inclusion
3x3 tournament open to all youth categories, with no gender distinction, commemorative T-shirt, photocall, Values MVP and reading of the manifesto.
June 22
Basketball without labels
Opening session of Campus Time Chamber, with a welcome activity built around fair play, respect and inclusion. Pride photocall.
June 23
Little Basket: Everyone plays
Open family celebration for the youngest in the District: cooperative mini-games, values-based activities, community photocall and snacks.
June 28
28J Digital Day
Publication of the official manifesto, Pride Month recap video, group photograph and interactive stories with the Barna community.
What we'll really do
We'll train our coaches every year
So they know how to properly support any boy, girl or young person at the club. We don't improvise on this.
We have a clear protocol
In case a girl tells us she's actually a boy, or a boy who's actually a girl. Confidentiality, respect and the family by their side.
Zero tolerance for LGBTI-phobia
Insults and jokes that hurt: not on the court, not in the changing room, not in the stands, not on social media. No matter who they come from.

Every June, Pride Month at the club
Activities, rainbow laces, manifesto on the website. Not to look good. To remind ourselves who we want to be.
